The hotel room was spotless, had central heating and a dining area. The bed was extremely comfy, I really enjoyed it. The place had a SPECIAL atmosphere.

During our recent stay at Guest House Ouka, we were impressed by the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. The location was convenient, with many important spots in just a short walking distance. The shared living room and kitchen were well-equipped, making it easy to relax and prepare meals. We were also delighted to find a welcome message on our bed after check-in.

The venue has en suite rooms with bathroom and high privacy, for example and incredibly nice and pretty friendly staff.

Was a comfortable base for trip. The weather was wonderful, had nice stay. Its location was central, a few steps away from Yatai Kaikan. A market and a convenience store were right next door. The restaurant was great for dinner, enjoyed it.

Lovely staff and spacious rooms. The staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English. They provided great recommendations for bars and restaurants, and their tips on where to go sightseeing were really useful. Additionally, the room was cozy, bright, and clean, and I really enjoyed the personal toilet in the room.

The room wasn't very soundproof, and I could hear my neighbors who were quite loud. It would have been better if the hotel had better sound insulation.

I had such a comfortable stay at Guest House Ouka! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. I stayed in the superior room and it was truly amazing. The traditional Japanese style with futon beds was so cozy. The bathroom had everything I needed. And the best part? They have coin-operated laundry and dryer machines, which was so convenient for a light traveler like me. The location may be a little far from the station and the center, but it wasn't a problem for me at all. I highly recommend Guest House Ouka for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Takayama.
